May 16, 2011: The Chick Chat gabfest on Wednesday has been cancelled. May 14, 2011: Nicole Wells' class on Navigating Challenging Conversations and the Chick Chat gabfest, a chance to talk about all things T and girly, have been added on Wednesday. May 12, 2011: Alicia Dixon's class on feminine dancing and Stephanie Headrick of Diamond White Smiles have been canceled due to family emergency. May 10, 2011: Dr. McKenzie's Whole Life Health class on Wednesday afternoon has been canceled due to professional schedule conflicts. May 7, 2011: Sequim's Museum and Arts Center extends an invitation to attendees to visit their Second Chance Consignment Shop in nearby Sequim on 155 W. Cedar St. They have a variety of clothing up to 3X, shoes, jewelry, and accessories. Attendees are also invited to visit the MAC Exhibit Center to view local history and rotating art exhibits. May 4, 2011: Detective Kim Bogucki of the Seattle Police Department and Michelle McVadon of Seven Star Women's Kung Fu teach a class on personal safety. May 3, 2011: The silk scarf painting activity hosted at a local artist Karen Sistek's studio has moved from Wednesday to Tuesday. Reservations are required so please call ahead early. Apr 30, 2011: Leeza Edwards presents two classes on new perspectives of trans-spritiuality and being. Dr. Serena McKenzie presents a class on wholistic health for women and transgenders. Apr 24, 2011: The Port Angeles Farmers' Market welcomes attendees on Saturday from 10:00AM-2:00PM. Buy something, show your badge, and get a free pink creampuff. Apr 24, 2011: The Wednesday night play will be a night of food and fun with a hosted pre-party at Good To Go Natural Grocery, the play, and the legendary afterparty. The Good To Go pre-party is from 6:00-7:00, then doors to the playhouse open at 7:00 with the show at 7:30. Apr 16, 2011: The Port Angeles Unitarian Church invites attendees to either of their Sunday 10:30AM services. See the wonderful invitation letter for details and directions to their church located between Port Angeles and Sequim. Apr 16, 2011: Rissa's Barely Consignment, a new friend of Esprit, invites attendees to enjoy a 20% discount on larger size clothing set aside just for us. Apr 16, 2011: Port Angeles resident Richard Stephens is the costume designer at the Port Angeles Community Playhouse. He teaches classes on introductory sewing and a look at iconic women of all sizes through history and how they achieved their look. A TG legal topics class by Melissa Batson has been added on Wednesday. Apr 12, 2011: Cheryl Cristello adds another class about transition experiences. A class in which you make your own earrings has been added on Wednesday. Patricia Fawver and Dotti Berry present a joint class discussing couples issues on Thursday. Kate Stewart presents a class on flirting technique on Friday. Christina Fletcher reprises her class on new theories about causes of human behavior. Cheryl Collins presents a class and assessment of your Gender Temperament. Apr 12, 2011: The Port Townsend guided shopping trip has been cancelled. Apr 11, 2011: The Wednesday night play is the comedy Nude With Violin. Merryn Em'Ar from Port Angeles returns to teach her beginning belly dance class. Apr 8, 2011: The schedule is getting pretty full with even more recent additions and we're working on filling in the last important late-week slots. Apr 7, 2011: Kylie Ellis, owner of Steppin' Out Salon in Port Angeles, teaches a class on hair extensions. Apr 7, 2011: Melissa White of Trannycloset.com hosts an ice cream social at Baskin Robbins on Thursday evening. Melissa also teaches a newly added body shaping class. Apr 7, 2011: Popular speaker and author Claire Winter adds valuable classes about preparing to come out and about prioritizing the various types of medical treatments for your personal situation. Apr 6, 2011: Barbara Anne Love presents The Sky's The Limit-How to Enjoy Air Travel Barbara also presents a photography class to teach you how to look your best. Professor Miqqi Gilbert's "Bigender Tranny" course has been canceled due to family illness. Apr 5, 2011: We apologize for the delay. Many classes have been added to the schedule and it will be completely filled within a few more days. Among the new additions: expert dancer Alicia Dixon provides a variety of social and formal dance classes. Susan Lalone will discuss TGs in Film. Claire Winter discusses Transitioning at Work. Don't worry, much more will be added shortly in many exciting and fresh topic areas, so get those registrations in as soon as possible. Mar 29, 2011: Favorite resource providers Christina Fletcher (hair/wig styling and accessories), LaDonna Fry (Park Lane Jewelry), and Melissa White (Tranny Closet accessories and more) return this year. Mar 29, 2011: Room rates on the Accommodations page have been corrected to the correct prices of $109/night for a waterfront room and $99/night for all other rooms. You must call the Port Angeles Red Lion directly to request those rates. Mar 28, 2011: Karen Sistek's silk scarf painting activity is scheduled for Wednesday. We will have at least 2 sessions (specific times TBA) with ample time for you to create foolproof and easy silk scarves of your own design. Mar 26, 2011: The fortune cookie dispenser on the home page is running again. These are actual fortune cookies collected by your webmistress over the years. Mar 26, 2011: Peninsula Daily News press reports about Esprit 2010 are posted. Mar 26, 2011: Esprit has hooked up with Bada Bean! Bada Bloom! in Port Angeles to supply elegant corsages and other flowers for the Saturday formal gala. An order form and more details will be included in your registration packet but you can see the colors and styles on the same form here. A portion of the sale price will go to Clallam County Hospice. Be sure to consider Bada Bloom! for any other flower needs you may have. Mar 26, 2011: Wedding party volunteers to serve cake, coffee, punch, and champagne are needed for the Thursday renewal of Isabelle's and Ashley's vows. Join the party and get a corsage! Feb 24, 2011: This year's talent show is based on the crazy sketches and fashion stylings (?) of the venerable comedy variety show Hee Haw...with our own twist. Jan 15, 2011: Kellie Spradlin and Debbie Bowers are back this year all week to provide a whole range of nail services. Nov 23, 2010: The Tuesday Ascot is back. This is your chance to dress up in your finest, with an outrageous hat of course, and spend the evening wagering and cheering on your horses in a fun game with real horse racing videos.
